South Coast MedSpa (SCMS) was founded in January of 2005 with the original location in Newport Beach, CA. Christian Jagusch, MD is the medical director or SCMS and provides direct medical supervision to the patients at SCMS. SCMS specializes in laser hair removal, laser acne scar removal and laser tattoo removal.
The co-founders of SCMS set out to offer only the most proven medical treatments designed to improve their patients quality of lives. During the first 12 months the practice offered a wide range of cosmetic treatments but later determined that it would only focus on laser hair removal for its patients. Christian Jagusch, MD is the medical director of South Coast MedSpa, he is a board certified ER doctor who provides direct oversight and medical supervision to the practice.
Laser Hair Removal was the main focus for SCMS for the single fact that it was the most effective laser treatment available. Laser Hair Removal could be done consistently with similar outcomes on a wide range of patients. Unlike other medical cosmetic treatments being offered at the time where patient outcomes were very inconsistent.
By 2006 South Coast MedSpa was the leading laser hair removal center in Orange County and had invented their trademarked Full Body Laser Hair Removal. In 2007 SCMS expanded it laser treatments and began to offer Laser Acne Scar Removal treatments. Thousand of patients have seen a major improvement with their acne scars at SCMS and patients fly from all over the world to have their laser acne scar removal treatments performed at SCMS.
South Coast MedSpa began offering laser tattoo removal treatments in March 2008 at the Newport Beach office. " We wanted to be 100% confident that the laser tattoo removal process had been developed to the point we could treat all ink colors and skin types," said a company spokesman. " After doing a hundred or so treatments we felt confident that we could expand the practice. once again to help improve the quality of life of an entire new group of patient," said Dr. Jagusch.
In August of 2008 South Coast MedSpa opening the second location in Los Angeles, CA. The office is located at 11645 Wilshire Blvd STE 1120, Los Angeles CA 90025.
